Is onyxpay anonymous?

No. onyxpay gives you unlinkability, not anonymity. The payer's transaction is visible on their chain and your settlement is visible on yours — what onyxpay breaks is the connection between them. You and your payer know exactly who each other are. Nobody else can connect the two.

Does onyxpay ever hold my funds?

No. onyxpay is non-custodial. The payer's wallet signs, NEAR Intents solvers execute the route, and the payment settles directly to your wallet. onyxpay never holds funds or keys.

Can I receive ZEC to a shielded address?

Not to a Zcash shielded address. ZEC settles to your confidential address, so the payer's wallet and yours can't be connected on-chain.

Is this as private as shielded Zcash?

It's a different model. Shielded Zcash uses zero-knowledge cryptography to keep transactions private on-chain. onyxpay uses NEAR Confidential Intents, which executes the route in a confidential environment so the payer's wallet and yours can't be connected on-chain. It solves a different problem: keeping that link broken when your payer isn't on Zcash.

My client has USDT on Ethereum. Can I receive USDT on Tron?

Yes. Your client pays from whichever chain they hold USDT on, and you receive USDT on Tron. Nobody has to pick the right network.

Is my Tron address still public?

Yes, like every address on its own chain. What onyxpay breaks is the on-chain connection between your client's wallet and yours — not the visibility of either address.

Can I show my accountant my payments?

Yes. Every request becomes a receipt — amount, memo, counterparty, and date. You keep a full record and can produce it whenever you need to.
